School executives will set high standards for the professional practice of 21st century instruction and assessment that result in a no nonsense accountable environment. A) Focus on Learning and Teaching, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
The school executive leads the discussion about standards for curriculum, instruction and assessment based on research and best practices in order to establish and achieve high expectations for students. |
As a Principal Residency I was able to create a document for teachers to use doing PLC to discuss the data of students achievement. In addition, it goes in depth of what are the next steps we need to take for students academics growth.

B) Focus On Instructional Time
The school executive creates processes and schedules which protect teachers from disruptions of instructional or preparation time. |
During this pandemic and virtual learning time. We as a leadership were able to create a schedule for teachers to have at least 1.5 hour and half days on Wednesday to lesson plan, create assessment and analysis data without being interrupted.
